5 Great Books for a Snow Day

Hello everyone! Because the holiday season has started, I thought I would be festive and recommend some snow day books. Let's get started!
1. Divergent by Veronica Roth
This one is great! It is entertaining, interesting, and definitely a page-turner. It's a great novel to binge-read so that it gets you interested in the rest of the series!
2. Because You'll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas
I love this story! It is about two boys on opposite sides of the Earth who have medical conditions that prohibit each other from ever meeting, but that doesn't stop them from writing letters. The narrative switches, and it really inspires me to start writing every time I read it. Great one!
3. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
This classic was considered the first Science Fiction novel ever written, and I know the grand-daughter of the writer (She was my writing teacher at my camp)! Although it may be old, it will never be outdated, and I totally recommend it.
4. I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
If you want to be inspired, what are you waiting for? READ THIS BOOK. The young and admirable Malala is an incredible writer, and has lived through the unlivable. Literally (you'll see what I mean... if you read the book). She works soooooooooooooooo hard for gender equality, so, I mean, I love her already. But she writes too?!? New best friend right here. Anyways, totally recommend this one.
5. The Diary of Anne Frank: The Play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett
Now, you may be wondering, there's a play? Well, yes, and I haven't read the book, but in my opinion, the play was great. It's interesting, and portrays the characters in an interesting way. Definitely worth the read.
I hope that you enjoy these rad reads (ooh, I like that phrase) and I will see you next week. What are you still doing here? Go play in the snow (or read a book...)!
