Number the Stars
This one is one of my ultimate favs. I don't know why I love it so much, but it gives such an interesting perspective on World War 2. I definitely recommend it to anyone because of it's incredible story line. It may be short, but it's still an amazing.

The Hate U Give
Yes, the "U" was intentional. This heart-wrenching story about a black boy who was shot for no reason and his best friend who has to fight for his justice is incredible and really exposes the true horror of this reoccurring problem. It's such a great book with a really great writing style, too.

The Harry Potter Series Series
LOOOOOVE this one! I know that some aren't fans of fantasy, but COME ON. You are literally not a human if you haven't at least read the first book. This series took me two full years to read, but it was so wroth it. SOOOO worth it.

The Divergent Series
I'm a HUGE fan of these books. I honestly can't choose a favorite. They tell the story of Tris and her friends as they go trough a rough journey (that includes a war) to find who they really are. Love it!

Lion
This inspirational story is about an Indian boy who got lost, was adopted in Australia, and used Google Maps and a lot of determination to find his way back home. It has incredible writing, a well organized skeleton, and an amazing story that no one will ever forget. I definitely recommend this one!
