Happy New Year everyone! Since it is the first week of January, I thought it would be a great idea to share some of my 2018 reading goals. Let’s get started!
1. Read MORE.
I feel as though I don’t pick up a book as often as I would like, considering I am busy with school and other activities, so I want to make sure that I read at for at least 20 minutes a day.
2. Expand my horizon.
I tend to read a TON of dystopian stories, and I want to change that up a bit. I really want to focus more on memoirs and biographies.
3. Write personal reviews.
I think that writing reviews in a little notebook would be really cool, and it would force me to reflect on the story I read. Maybe I could even share some of them with you!
4. Read slower.
I am a super slow reader, so I tend to rush through, which leads to missing important details. I really want to practice reading at a more comfortable pace.
5. Talk about my reading.
I would definitely like to share my thoughts on the books I'm reading more often, and not just in the form of a review! I will definitely try to find an easy-accessible and fun way to reach out and share my ideas with you!
Thanks for reading this short post, and make sure to subscribe to TheBookWorm for updates on my new posts! See you next week!
