Half Way Through: "Refugee"... Plus an EXCITING New Book Update!

Happy Tuesday everyone! SOOO sorry for the late post today! I haven't done a "Half Way Through" in a while, so I thought I would break the trend and share some thoughts with you about Refugee! But, to be honest, I haven't read all the way to the half point yet. It has been quite a while since the book vote, but I jus haven't had a lot of time (projects, mid-terms, etc.). Despite that, I would still love to tell you a little about it!

So far, I have really enjoyed it! It switches between three different perspectives about refugees in Germany during WW2, Cuba during the 90's, and Syria during the 2000's. It is in third-person, which I really respect because that is NOT easy to do (for me at least). I find that these days, first-person is much more popular, so the change is definitely refreshing. I also really like how the author potrays the characters and displays their traits. I am really enjoying it so far, and will make sure to give a full review when I am done!
