Reading Hacks for the Tough Chapters

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for the late post! I had restraints yesterday, too. But I'm here now! I wanted to share some of the hacks I use for reading a boring book. I hope these are helpful and get you through future novels!

1. Write down your complaints about the book.

Making a list can help you vent about your problems with the book so that you can clear your head. It really works!

2. Take a break.

If you pick up another book, whether it is a small novel or the dictionary, you can eventually go back to your current read with a new thought process.

3. Listen to music while you're reading.

Turning on a pump playlist during the rough patches of a book can push you through -- I recommend your workout playlist!

4. Read about the author.

Sometimes if you read about the author's background or other books they have written, it gives you a whole new perspective on your read.

5. Watch the news.

Your book may connect to current events, which could help you relate to the book, or it will just get you thinking about something else for a while instead of trying to push through a bad chapter.

I hope my advice was helpful for the tough chapters! I know it can be difficult to stay focused while reading, so these hacks are solutions to all of your reading problems! My favorite is listening to music, but what was yours? Tell me in the comments! Thanks for reading, and sorry for the late post! See you next Wednesday!\
