Half Way Through: "Aversion" by Kenechi Udogu
Hey readers! Today, I will be doing a Half Way Through for the book Aversion by Kenechi Udogu. I am actually enjoying this book so far! I love the story and think it is super original. It's about Gemma, a girl who is an Averter, which means she helps people avert themselves from bad situations. The way that Udogu inserts so much detail into her writing is amazing! I love the book, but I do wish that the first chapter was a little less direct about Gemma's character. I felt like it could have been eased in a little more. Also, I feel like more commas have been used (that's just the copy editor in me). It is part of a trilogy, so maybe I will read the others. I will keep you all updated, but I totally recommend this book! When I am finished reading, I will do a full review, but I hope you enjoyed this week's post!
