I'M BACK! Halfway Through: "Warcross" by Marie Lu

Hi everyone! I know this is a weird posting date, but I said I would be posting on the 8th, but I had some posting issues yesterday. So today I wanted to do a Halfway Through review of the science fiction novel I am reading, Warcross by Marie Lu. It's about a teenage hacker, Emika Chen, who hacks a huge virtual reality game called Warcross. She gets caught during the big tournament and expects to be arrested, but is instead recruited to be an undercover agent for the founder to find another hacker. She is placed on one of the most famous teams for the next tournament, while trying to find the evil hacker, Zero. So far, the book is AMAZING! Emika lives a very interesting life, which keeps the reader on it's toes. The author does a fantastic job keeping the reader hooked, which I love. It is a very fast-paced story, so it's hard to stop reading! The character's quick rise to fame is difficult for her, so it gives a taste of the real difficulty of the spotlight, which I definitely enjoyed. I think, so far, this is definitely one of my new favs!
I am so happy to be back, and I hope to see you all next Friday (not this Friday, but the one after that)! Thanks for keeping up with me, TheBookWorm, and I'll see you at the next post!
